Vision and Mission

Our founder, the late A. Earl Swift, believed that the mission and culture of an organization defined its reason for being. During 2007 and 2008, Swift Energy Company formalized and elaborated on its operating philosophy using a participatory process consistent with the company's founding principles.

At the end of this process, with input from our employees, we developed the updated vision and mission statements provided below. These statements, along with the seven core values that define our culture, are the signposts that will guide us on the road to the future.

Vision Statement

Mission Statement

Our mission is to deliver outstanding operating and financial results by aggressively building and managing a balanced portfolio of oil and gas properties with an assortment of growth opportunities covering a range of risks and rewards. We accomplish this by building a culture committed to effective stewardship, continuous improvement, and pure performance.
