Steven B. Yakle was appointed vice president—corporate administration of Swift Energy on November 1, 2007. The departments reporting to his office are Human Resources/Employee Relations, Corporate Services, Records Management and Information Technology. Mr. Yakle will also continue to serve as vice president—finance and chief financial officer of the Swift Energy’s wholly owned subsidiary, Swift Energy New Zealand (SENZ).

Mr. Yakle joined Swift Energy in August 1989, serving first as manager of partnership accounting and later as assistant controller for compliance, with responsibilities for both corporate and partnership reporting. He transferred to SENZ in New Zealand in 2001, remaining there until he returned to Swift Energy’s corporate offices in February 2006.

Before joining Swift Energy, Mr. Yakle worked for Goldking Production Company and the Internal Revenue Service. A certified public accountant, he graduated from Wichita State University in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
