Adrian D. Shelley
Treasurer

Adrian D. Shelley has been Swift Energy Company's treasurer and assistant secretary since joining the company in 1990. He was previously with TransAmerican Natural Gas Corporation (1986 to 1990) where he was assistant treasurer. Prior to that time, he was employed at Quanex Corporation and Cameron Iron Works, Inc. in various financial positions.

As treasurer, Mr. Shelley is responsible for cash management, banking, credit, group benefits, property and casualty insurance, price risk management, forecasting, many corporate publications, and financial analysis. During his career, he has had international exposure, including world-wide insurance coverages, foreign exchange, hedging, and extensive relationships with foreign banks.

Mr. Shelley received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina in 1972. From 1972 to 1974, he served as an officer in the United States Navy. In 1975, he received a master's degree in business administration from Louisiana State University. He is a member of and serves on the Board of the Financial Executives Institute. He is also on the Board of Directors of Texas Impact.
