Tara L. Seaman is vice president--reserves & evaluations for Swift Energy
Company. She first joined Swift in 1982 as a reservoir engineer, projecting
reserves associated with company properties to be explored and/or developed
in West Virginia, Kansas, and Wyoming. Later, as the company began acquiring
properties that were already producing, primarily in Texas and Oklahoma but
also in other states, she performed evaluations of the properties prior to
their purchase. Additionally, she assumed responsibility for periodically
evaluating and reporting all the company's reserves as required by the
Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as all the reserves held by the
company's limited partnerships and joint ventures. She was named
manager--corporate reserves in 1990 and promoted to assistant vice
president--corporate reserves in 1995. In 1996, she was promoted to vice
president--acquisitions, dispositions, & reserves with the added
responsibility for dispositions of producing properties as older partnership
assets are liquidated and dissolved, along with selling non-core corporate
properties to streamline and focus on the company's major areas. In 2004,
she assumed her present title as vice president--reserves & evaluations.
Before joining Swift Energy, Ms. Seaman worked for Conoco in West Texas
fields and offshore Louisiana.
Ms. Seaman is a 1982 graduate of the University of Houston with a
