Raymond O. Loen was a founding director of Swift Energy Company and served on its Board of Directors from the time it was first formed until his retirement on May 9, 2000. He was the first person to contribute risk capital for the company’s formative activities and during his 21 years of outstanding service served as chairman of several of the Board’s committees. In his honorary position of director emeritus, he maintains a keen interest in the progress of the company.

Mr. Loen is president of R. O. Loen Company, a privately held management consulting firm headquartered in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
