Common Stock, 1996 and 1995

 

Swift Energy Company common stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange and the Pacific Stock Exchange under the symbol "SFY." The high and low quarterly sales prices for the common stock for 1996 and 1995 are as follows:

Since inception, no cash dividends have been declared on the Company’s common stock. Cash dividends are restricted under the terms of the Company’s credit agreements, as discussed in Note 4 to the Company’s financial statements, and the Company presently intends to continue a policy of using retained earnings for expansion of its business.

Swift Energy had approximately 510 stockholders of record as of March 1, 1997.
