Reserves Growth with a
Regional Focus |
Swift Energy Company is a natural resource company engaged in the exploration,
development, acquisition, and production of oil and gas properties. The geographic regions
of the United States in which the Company operates are indicated on the above map—modified version of the satellite image shown on the cover.
The Company's 1994 activities within these regions (and internationally) are described in
the following reports.

Letter to Stockholders: Swift
Energy focuses on increases in proved reserves and cash flows-the keys to sustained growth
in shareholder value. |

Exploration & Development:
Swift participated in the drilling of 44 wells in 1994 and identified 66 drilling
locations for 1995 in seven strategic regions. |

Property Acquisitions: In 1994,
the Company made a major acquisition in Louisiana and Alabama, with additional purchases
in Mississippi and Texas. |

Capital Formation: In Swift
Energy's diversified capital formation strategy, Swift Energy's private drilling program
is assuming a greater role. |

Assets Management: The Company's
management of co-investor assets provides economies of scale and facilitates
diversification of investments. |

Oil & Gas Operations: Swift
Energy's reserves growth and operating expertise led to an all-time high in natural gas
and oil production during 1994. |

International Initiatives: Swift
is investing a limited portion of its capital funds in international projects with higher
potential rewards. |
