Senior Energy Marketing Representative

Job Summary:

Under minimal supervision, negotiate gas sales, gathering, transportation and processing transactions, including NYMEX based transactions and oil sales. Source gas supplies to meet each sales contract and control all nominations from operated properties. Responsible for the allocation of gas to sales and transportation contracts. Identify and assess value of optionality provided by (imbedded in) capital projects, e.g. multiple physical outlets for production, as well as commercial terms. Prepare pricing for accruals and invoicing.

Required Education/Experience/Training:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or related Energy Management/Finance discipline.
  • Expert ability in marketing, sales and oil, gas and liquid natural gas contractual provisions and standards within the industry.
  • Expert abilities in required oil, gas and liquid natural gas marketing, company systems and software applications.
  • Ability to mentor less senior team members and lead cross functional teams.
  • Thorough understanding of budget process, risk analysis and business impact analysis.
  • Ability to write and / or present contractual and technical marketing / sales information.
